全く、何の前触れもなく、清掃日の前日に届いたクーラーボックス。いつも、何かにつけて支援してくれる、長年の付き合いの Y君 からのギフトでした。事前相談なく、思い立ったら 即行動 の彼らしい心遣いでした。
積載量が限られたオートバイで、他にも大きな機材もありますが、とにかく一度は、心遣いに応えない訳にはいきません。少し無理して、現場に搬入して、いつもより 飲料が冷たく飲めました。ありがとうございました。

『 外周路を約 23㎡ / 23 ㎡ of the outer road 』
7月10に行なった、赤穂市交通公園の清掃も、前回に引き続いて、外周路の路面清掃でした。前回のエリアでは土砂の堆積が 20㎝ 近くありましたが、それと較べると今回のエリアは少なく、結果、清掃エリアは 前回の 約 18㎡ から増えて 約 23㎡になりました。

それにしても、路面に厚く堆積した土砂も大変ですが、路面に広がる芝も大変です。一見、路面の上に広がっているだけの様に見えますが、実は、その下で大変な破壊をしているのです。広がった芝は路面のアスファルトを破壊して、酷い所になると、舗装された筈のアスファルトが全く無くなり、土に置き換わっている箇所も少なくありません。だから、そういう所は、破壊が進まない様に芝を根こそぎ取っています。

梅雨の季節はあっという間に通り過ぎ、夏本番の陽射しに見舞われていますが、交通公園では、早くも、赤とんぼ達が舞い始めています。また、公園の草地からは キリギリス達のコーラスも響き始めました。
The seasons change quickly, and the park is now bathed in the summer sunshine. Dragonflies have already begun to flutter about, and a chorus of katydids has begun to echo from the grass in the park.
交通公園の清掃作業は、広い道幅の道路に始まり外周路へと進んでいますが、内部通路には、下の画像の様に、路面上に芝や草たちが進出している箇所は数多くあります。それを観る度に、「早く綺麗にしたい」と思っていますが、相手が多過ぎます。先ずは、公園に来た人が必ず利用する道路をきちんと清掃をします。それから、徐々に、手を付けられていなかった場所へと進めます。当初予想していた以上に、相手は手強いですね。
